Legislators from the Cape appear before the Cannabis Control Commission later today to seek changes in policies. Senator Julian Cyr and Representative Sarah Peake want the Commission to take greater control over Host Community Agreements. Cyr meantime will also seek a change to allow an individual community to have the power to approve social consumption as part of a so-called cafe. Cyr is seeking a pilot program to see if that works.
