APCC Requests Attorney General To Oppose Coal Repeal

The Association to Preserve the Cape is asking the State Attorney General to oppose the federal EPA’s regulations that would repeal reductions in toxic emissions from coal fired plants.

Officials from the group say that the Cape has a lot to lose without the standards in place.

The repeal comes from the head of the EPA - Andrew Wheeler, who is a former coal industry lobbyist.

The Preservation group says that if the regulations are repealed, lives will be lost.
