Strike Date Announced For Vineyard Bus Drivers

Public transit bus drivers on Martha's Vineyard are announcing a strike date. Union officials for the Vineyard Transit Authority drivers say the action is set for Friday to protest unfair labor practices and after a new contract was not agreed to. A bus driver said in a statement that it's been five years since drivers got a raise. The transit authority says it will do its best to provide as much service as possible if the strike happens.
