Differing Versions Of Hands Free Driving Bill Discussed Yesterday

We haven’t heard a lot about the Conference Committee on the Hands Free Driving Bill. The House and Senate had passed differing versions of the measure.

The committee met for the first time yesterday-five minutes in open session. Among the members of the committee, State Rep Tim Whelan.

There are very few differences between the two bills. The House version calls for tracking of calls that end in citations. The Senate version calls for tracking of all stops.
