Officials at Quest Diagnostics say someone hacked into the website that a billing company uses at patient information may have been put at risk. Officials say they are working with the American Medical Collection Agency to determine the extent of the breach.
The breach dates back possibly to May 14th and may have put patient information including social security numbers at risk.
Quest does the lab testing for at least 12 labs on the Cape.
If you think your information could have been part of the breach, keep an eye on your credit card statements each month and your credit rating as well.
