In Dennis last night, the town meeting has rejected changes in the regional school agreement with Yarmouth and that may kill a long planned construction of a new middle school.
Dennis town meeting votes 344 to 266 not to raise their taxes in order to shift costs from Yarmouth to Dennis.
Now that project may die but a suit by Yarmouth against Dennis to get changes made will probably continue.
