A paddleboarder who was the subject of a rescue effort off Nauset Light Beach on Sunday has died. The Cape and Islands District Attorney's office says police were notified about a man who had fallen off his board and was floating in the water, leading to a rescue effort conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard and emergency personnel from three towns. The D.A.'s office is identifying the victim as David Harmon, who apparently suffered a medical problem.
