Police say the driver of a car that crashed into a house on the Upper Cape overnight Monday was texting.
Kenneth Barrows of East Falmouth was texting when his vehicle veered off a road in Woods Hole and went into the home, according to the Falmouth Police Department, which says the building sustained extensive damage, but the homeowner was not injured.
Barrows reportedly refused treatment at the scene and will be summoned to Falmouth District Court for operating a motor vehicle to endanger and other offenses.
