CapeSpace News Release:
March 20, 2019 (Hyannis, MA) – CapeSpace is taking its relationship with EforAll Cape Cod to the next level by offering free access to participants in the nonprofit’s entrepreneurial incubator program.
“We have witnessed first-hand the impact EforAll is having by supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners, enabling them to achieve success in our region,” CapeSpace President Robbin Orbison said. “This is one way we can play a role in that success by providing a free space for those in its accelerator program to work on and refine their business ideas.”
Through the partnership, participants in the accelerator program will be given free access to CapeSpace’s business lounge during regular operating hours as well as free use of its meeting rooms for mentor sessions on Mondays, Fridays, evenings and weekends.
Once entrepreneurs graduate from the program, they will have the opportunity to remain at CapeSpace, accessing its business lounge for only $15 per month for the first year with all setup fees waived.
Christin Marshall, executive director of EforAll Cape Cod, said CapeSpace has embraced her organization since the local EforAll chapter launched last July. Since then, EforAll Cape Cod has based its operations out of the Hyannis co-working facility.
“CapeSpace has been a wonderful partner and is a great example of how a local business can bring together the entrepreneurial community,” Marshall said. “It is not only an office space, it’s been the place where I’ve found the greatest number of mentors for the accelerator program. It is a wonderful nexus of the Cape’s entrepreneurial eco-system.”
Twice a year, in the spring and the fall, EforAll Cape Cod runs its 12-week accelerator program which enables anywhere from 12 to 15 entrepreneurs to shape, hone and refine their business ideas under the guidance of local mentors in a variety of fields, ranging from graphic design to physical therapy to finance to technology.
A total of 14 participants have been selected for the spring 2019 accelerator program which kicked off at the beginning of this month and ends on May 10. Final pitches will take place Monday, May 13 through Wednesday, May 15 at Osterville Village Library with a showcase and celebration held on Thursday, May 23, 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
