Wellfleet Police/Paragliding Accident 2/13/2019Wellfleet Police responded Tuesday morning for a report of a paraglider in the utility lines at White Crest Beach, off Ocean View Drive. Upon arrival police found that the operator of the paraglider, believed to be uninjured, had left the area. On their Facebook page, Wellfleet police say they are attempting to identify the operator.Eversource was called in to turn off power to the area so the paraglider could be safely removed. Officers remained on scene to keep people and traffic away.The incident remains under investigation.
