AAA’s experienced and independent inspectors annually visit and approve more than 27,000 hotels across North America. Only 121 hotels, 0.4 percent of the total, receive AAA’s highest rating of Five Diamonds, while just another 1,722 properties, or 6.3 percent, receive the Four Diamond award.
AAA Northeast is pleased to announce that 55 hotels in Massachusetts are being honored in 2019, with three receiving the prestigious Five Diamond recognition.
“The Five and Four Diamond ratings are impressive accomplishments that recognize the upper echelon of hotels in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean,” said Mary Maguire, AAA Northeast Director of Public and Legislative Affairs.

The recipients will be honored by AAA this spring at luncheons in Boston and in the Berkshires. Recipients of Five and Four Diamond awards for restaurants will be announced mid-February.
