Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod announces that homeowner applications are available, beginning January 22, 2019 and ending March 22, 2019. Eight homes will be built in the Town of Brewster and two in Wellfleet. House sizes include two 2-bedroom and six 3-bedroom houses in Brewster; one 2-bedroom home and one 3-bedroom home in Wellfleet. Applicants are urged to attend one of the information workshops for prospective buyers. Applications will be available at all sessions:

Additional Information:
Applicant households must be income eligible with a maximum 60% of area median income by household size for some homes (example $51,720 currently, for a family of 4); and at 65% for some homes ($56,030 for a family of 4). Applicant households must be willing to commit many hours of sweat equity to building the home and have a housing need. The monthly housing payment (mortgage, taxes, insurance, home owner association fees) for these homes is estimated to be around $670- $750 per month depending on cost of taxes, insurance, and other terms.
