The Homeless Prevention Council, in conjunction with the Harwich Council on Aging, will hold an informational session about housing and community resources for senior citizens on the Lower and Outer Cape, called Let’s Talk About Tomorrow. The event will be held at the Harwich Council on Aging, located within the Harwich Community Center, on January 23rd from 2-3 PM.
The purpose of Let’s Talk about Tomorrow is to meet with seniors at risk of housing instability before they reach a crisis point. Let’s Talk About Tomorrow will bring increasing awareness to issues around senior housing on the Lower Cape, encourage attendees to work with case managers to apply as soon as possible, and connect attendees to the many resources available to them in our community.
