Wareham Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver.
Wareham P.D. reports a Plymouth woman was struck shortly before 6 p.m. on New Year’s Day at 30-43 Cranberry Highway while attempting to cross the road. She suffered serious injuries and was flown to Rhode Island Hospital’s Trauma Center.
The driver of the vehicle that struck her fled the scene towards Bourne. It is described as a silver SUV.
Wareham Police ask anyone with information on this case to contact their detective division.
