An East Sandwich home was destroyed by fire on Sunday.
The 3-bedroom home at 11 Jacobs Meadow Road suffered in excess of $600,000 in damage.
The occupants were not in the house at the time of the fire. One firefighter was treated for dehydration at Cape Cod Hospital and released later in the day.
While the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Sandwich Fire Department and the state fire marshal’s office, a spokesperson with the latter says the fire appears to be accidental.
