Lt. Governor Karyn Polito was in Bourne on Wednesday helping local officials break ground on the Buzzards Bay Wastewater Treatment facility.
The facility seen as an essential part of the expansion and development in the area. Polito was on hand to present $1.5 million from the MassWorks Infrastructure Grant Program towards the project. The project also received $300,000 from the Cape Cod Commission with tax payers in Bourne covering the remaining $1.7 million.
