Plymouth Dems Square Off in State Senate Primary

Two Plymouth Democrats are squaring off in the September 4 primary to challenge Republican state Senator Vinny deMacedo in November.

Stephen Michael Palmer and Deborah Rudolf say they are running to unseat deMacedo because he has lost touch with his constituents in the district.

The 62-year old Palmer has run unsuccessfully for state rep seats in both Plymouth and South Boston. The 68-year old Rudolf is an attorney making her first run at public office.
