In Truro, Pot Is On the Docket for a Third Time

Recreational marijuana will be the subject once again when the Truro Planning Board meets on Tuesday.

The board will, for the third time, discuss zoning bylaws with regard to growing marijuana for commercial purposes.

A local farm cooperative is planning on applying for a license to sell recreational pot under the state’s new regulations. The cooperative has four farms, three in Truro and one in Wellfleet.

One of the major concerns of residents is the smell of marijuana in their residential neighborhoods from the farms.
