21-year old Malik Koval has officially been charged in the shooting of two Falmouth Police officers.
Koval was arraigned Tuesday while shackled to his hospital bed in a Boston hospital.
He pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault to murder, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, two counts of assaut and battery with a dangerous weapon, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and disturbing the peace. Two of Koval’s family members also face charges for allegedly interfering with police before the shooting.
Officers Don DeMiranda and Ryan Moore are recovering from their gunshot wounds suffered in Friday’s incident.
