An update to a story we told you about this morning.
Mashpee Police say the woman struck by a car Tuesday night on Route 28 near the Barnstable/Mashpee town line has died from her injuries.
Michele Poirier, 59, of Mashpee was struck in the area of 100 Falmouth Road by a car travelling westbound. Poirier was taken to Cape Cod Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by Mashpee Police and the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Crash Reconstruction Team.
