Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has announced a new fundraising event, the Ride for Homes, to raise funds and awareness about the need for decent, safe, affordable housing on Cape Cod.
There will be a 40-mile route from the Aptucxet Trading Post Museum in Bourne to Woods Hole and back, or a 10-mile ride down the Canal Road. The event takes places on Sunday, September 23, and begins at 7:00am for the longer ride, 9:30am for the shorter one.
Following the event will be a BBQ with live music and awards. To register go to www.rideforhomes.com. Registration is $30 and riders are requested to raise a minimum of $300 dollars. Junior riders can ride the 10-mile route with a parent for FREE!
