The Yarmouth Police Department will be conducting a special training seminar designed to help keep Yarmouth one of the safest communities in the region.
The YPD, in partnership with the Yarmouth Business Community, the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce, and the Hampton Inn and Suites, will hold a free “safe lodging” training event.
The training will address crime prevention, environmental design concepts, the registration process, police response, liability, and drug awareness.
The YPD says all levels of Yarmouth’s Lodging Industry employees are encouraged to attend, from managers and owners to staff.
The Safe Lodging seminar takes place today at 11 a.m. at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 99 Route 28, West Yarmouth.
