Some tense moments at Barnstable Municipal Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
It was just after 3 p.m when the pilot of a small plane declared an emergency, reporting a possible landing gear problem. The pilot of the twin engine plane did a fly-by and was told the landing gear was down but there was no indication it was locked in place.
With Hyannis Fire officials standing by, the plane landed, safely, and no injuries were reported.
