A woman suffered serious injuries Tuesday night when she was struck by a car in Sandwich.
The unidentified 68-year old from New Jersey was unresponsive when first responders arrived at the scene on Route 130 near the Henry T. Wing School. Rescue personnel took the woman to South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth. She was suffering from head trauma and was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the car that struck her, a 19-year old man from Sandwich, was not injured.
The Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
