Two people were seriously injured when their jet skis collided on John’s Pond in Mashpee.
The water crafts, each with two people on them, collided head-on.
A local business owner used his pontoon boat to rescue the teens. Mashpee Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and took one male to Falmouth Hospital. His injuries were not deemed life-threatening. A 19-year old female was airlifted to Rhode Island hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The identities of the injured have not been released and Mashpee Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
