The Old Mill Boat Yard in Chatham has a new look, thanks to a $1 million grant from the Seaport Economic Council in 2015.
Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, who chairs the S-E-C was in Chatham Thursday morning, joining local officials to celebrate the refurbished boat yard that overlooks Stage Harbor. The work involved significant repairs to the dock’s underlying infrastructure and the replacement of 74 boat slips.

Keon says an adjacent dock will also get an overhaul. That project is in the early planning stages and is still several years away.
