Some bogus bills have popped up in Provincetown.
The Provincetown Police Department is alerting area businesses to be aware of the attempts to pass the bogus $20 bills.
During the Memorial Day weekend there were two such attempts. Provincetown police urge business owners to inspect any $20s they might get in a business transaction and if it looks or feels fake, refuse the note and ask for a different one.
