A Yarmouth man is facing numerous gun charges after allegedly pointing a shotgun at several people.
It happened early Friday morning when Yarmouth Police and Mass State Police responded to a call behind the State Police barracks.
Police arrived on scene around 1 a.m. where three people said they had gone to the house of a friend to get her away from her boyfriend.
The three say when they arrived, the boyfriend pointed a shotgun at them.
Officers were able to convince the man to exit the house with his hands up.
Brendan Harris, 24, was placed under arrest and charged with five counts of improper storage of a firearm and 4 counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Harris was arraigned in Barnstable District Court.
