Gasoline prices inched upward for another week.
Triple-A Northeast reported Monday that self-serve, regular unleaded is averaging $2.28 per gallon, up four cents from a week ago.
The price is twelve cents below the national average but twenty cents more than the in-state price a year ago.
Triple-A found a range in price of 29 cents, from a low of $2.15 to a high of $2.44.
Production cuts by OPEC nations, seasonal refinery maintenance and increased demand the major reasons cited by Triple-A for the increase in price.
