The MSPCA-Cape Cod was handed a check for $27,000 on Friday from Atlantic Subaru in Bourne.
The funds come from the annual “Share the Love” event by Subaru where the car company donates $250 for every new vehicle sold or leased during a certain time frame to a number of charitable partners.
The donation, one of the largest single donations ever received by the MSPCA-Cape Cod, will help offset the organization’s operating expenses and also provide for critical resources and programs to the community.
Subaru of America, Inc. has donated more than $94 million to both local and national charities across the U.S. over the past nine years.
