A Safe Place has named a new executive director for the agency.
Following a nationwide search, A Safe Place has announced the hiring of Suzanne Kennedy to the position. Kennedy will replace outgoing executive director, Kat Robinson Grieder.
Kennedy previously served as Nantucket’s town administrator in the 1990s. She has also held municipal positions as budget director and administrator in other communities in Massachusetts and New York.
A Safe Place provides free, confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault on Nantucket.
