Yarmouth PD Arrest Two on Drug, Sex Charges

Yarmouth Police have arrested two people on drug possession and sex for pay charges.

On Friday around 5 p.m. Yarmouth police officer Nicholas Ambrosini and his K9 partner Gauge, while patrolling in the area of Grove Street in West Yarmouth near the beach, came upon a mini-van parked at the end of the street. Officer Ambrosini and Gauge approached the vehicle from the driver’s side and saw a man and woman engaged in a sexual act. During his encounter with the couple, officer Ambrosini also discovered plastic bags in the car with a substance identified as crack cocaine.

The car’s occupants were interviewed and admitted that the sex was being offered for money and the two had smoked crack.

Arrested were David Harrington, 57, of Yarmouthport and an unidentified female from Hyannis.

Both subjects were charged with possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) and sexual conduct for a fee.
