The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents The Cleon Crowell Native American Artifact Collection with Archaeologist, Dan Zoto,

The Cleon Crowell collection of Native American artifacts at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History contains hundreds of stone tools and ceramic sherds obtained from the Lower Cape in the early 20th century. The collection was recently analyzed by archaeologist Dan Zoto to gain insights to the types of artifacts included and their relative ages. Artifacts in the collection span at least the last 10,000 years.
Join Dan Zoto for an overview of the project and highlights of the interesting material that it contains. The project was funded by Local Cultural Council Program grants.
Dan Zoto is a professional archaeologist and engaging lecturer that works and lives on Cape Cod. His research interests include stone tools, coastal archaeology, and cultural resource management.
