Book Launch 'Rescuing Morgan: Love is Just the Beginning" at the OVL

Osterville Village Library

Local author, Dan Perdios, will be launching his new book "Rescuing Morgan: Love is Just the Beginning" at the Osterville Village Library on Friday May 31st at 3pm in the Main Meeting room.

Dan Perdios has been fortunate enough to be rescued by four Golden Retrievers. Willy, the co-star of his first book, A Golden Retriever & His Two Dads, was a light blond-colored puppy with bright gold eyes and arrived in 1996, after his first Golden, Nicholas, passed. Morgan, named after Captain Morgan of rum fame was his first rescue.

Dan's love for his dogs opened him up to a deep appreciation for nature and the great outdoors. In May 2021, Dan said good-bye to California and bought a beach home in Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod to be closer to his family in Boston.

Dan is an extensively published, PEN Grant award-winning journalist. His articles have appeared in magazines and newspapers such as: We The People, The Press Democrat, the Bay Area Reporter, the Russian River Times, the Desert Times, In LA Magazine, and The Desert Sun.

In the last few years Dan has taken his love of nature and his dogs a step further. Now his passion lies with the animal rights movement. His articles on this issue have appeared in Bay Woof and The Dodo - an online magazine about animals. Dan and his Goldens are well on their way to 20,000 followers on Facebook. Find out more at:
