Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has teamed up with the Cape Cod British Car Club to raise funds to build more affordable homes on Cape Cod with local families. On Saturday, May 11th, from 12:30 to 3 PM at the Falmouth ReStore (805 Gifford Street Ext., Falmouth), the Cape Cod British Car Club will host a classic and modern car show with a 50/50 raffle, a best-in-car contest, and Hank’s Franks will be grilling free hot dogs on-site. This will be a fun and family-friendly event for all ages to enjoy, and as always, there are plenty of great finds at the Falmouth ReStore, including the new Stitch & Style section. The generosity of the Cape Cod British Car Club made this event possible, and Habitat Cape Cod is grateful for the club’s support of our homebuilding program.
Homeownership applications are now available for Dennis and Wellfleet homes with a submission deadline of Monday, May 13, 2024; applicants can visit habitatcapecod.org for more information. Future homebuyers build their homes alongside volunteers, donors, sponsors, and the community, then purchase the home for an affordable price when finished and will have an affordable mortgage. The homes are deed-restricted to remain affordable in perpetuity.
