The milestone allows MassDOT to continue the effort to replace the aging Bourne and Sagamore bridges through the next stages of design and project delivery.
Governor Healey says replacing the bridges is one of the most important infrastructure projects in Massachusetts.
She says the bridges are essential for the people who live and work on Cape Cod, the businesses that depend on them and the millions of people who visit every year.
