State Representative Steve Xiarhos stopped by the Oak Street Bridge construction project Thursday to say hello and thanks to the crews rebuilding the parapet.
He says one side has been completed and the other side is expected to be finished by late fall and it's looking great.
When this project is complete, the Oak Street Bridge over Route 6 will have brand new sides, a completely repaved roadway and fresh pavement markings.
