No injuries are reported after a fire at the transfer station in Sandwich.
Firefighters were called to the New Bedford Waste Facility on Service Road shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday where they found heavy smoke and fire showing from the front compartment of the transfer facility and two 30-yard dumpsters on fire.
Falmouth, Bourne and Joint Base Fire Departments provided station coverage during the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
