Massachusetts senators are moving to ban cryptocurrency ATMs.
The Senate approved an amendment on Wednesday that bans the machines and allows the attorney general to enforce the ban.
Massachusetts residents reported losing nearly seven-million dollars through crypto kiosk scams last year.
However, the House version of the legislation does not include the ban, meaning lawmakers must negotiate a final measure.
This comes after nearly two years of stalled attempts to regulate the machines.
