Flood Watch Issued For Southeastern Massachusetts

A Flood Watch is in effect through Tuesday afternoon for parts of southeastern Massachusetts, including Barnstable, Plymouth, and Bristol counties.

The National Weather Service says 1 to 3 inches of rain are expected, with narrow bands possibly bringing 4 to 6 inches in 6 hours.

Forecasters say excessive runoff could cause flooding in rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying areas.
