A mirror in an outdoor shower sparked a fire on the exterior of a home in Mashpee.
Firefighters were called to Simons Narrows Road at around 4 p.m. Tuesday and found fire near an outdoor shower and it was quickly doused.
The fire was started by an outdoor mirror reflecting sunlight onto the sidewall of the home.
Fire officials say outdoor mirrors should be moved out of direct sunlight, and they should be covered when not in use.
