Wind Advisory In Effect From Noon Until 10 P.M.

Barnstable County will be under a Wind Advisory from noon until 10 p.m.

The National Weather Service says the strong gusty winds could down tree limbs, causing power outages.

The strongest winds are expected from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and area residents should make sure that any objects that could be blown around have been secured.

Forecasters say there could be wind gusts of up to 50-miles-per-hour and that could make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
