The Town of Brewster has posted an update on the Millstone Road construction project.
Officials say the contractor completed raising the catch basin grate castings at the edges of the roadway at the end of April and is now in the process of raising the drainage manhole covers within the roadway.
The casting covers are being raised to match the finish grade of the final paving which is expected to be completed during the week of May 18th.
Until the project is complete, drivers should be aware of the raised castings and continue to use caution on Millstone Road.
The Town will provide information about traffic detours in advance of the final road paving.
