State officials are greenlighting the open space and recreation plan in Harwich.
It's a big deal for the coastal community as the approval makes the town eligible for Division of Conservation Services grants for almost a decade.
Harwich leaders often pursue that money to help address coastal resilience and natural resources issues.
The last time Harwich updated its open space and recreation plan was 2017, so new data, goals and objectives were added.
