Local Gas Prices Rising

Prices at the gas pump continue to rise along with the price of oil as the U.S. continues military operations in Iran.

Motorists locally are feeling those increasing costs as Triple-A reports the average price of regular fuel in Barnstable is now three-27 per gallon -- 31-cents more per gallon from one week ago.

President Trump has said he has a plan to address the rise in oil prices -- adding that Americans will be very happy.

Meantime, drivers aren't the only ones feeling the pinch at the pump. Home heating oil prices have spiked as well.

Before the conflict prices were just under four bucks a gallon.

Now they are just under 5 dollars a gallon and there is no indication when the prices will fall back to normal.
