Martha's Vineyard Fourth Amendment Project Education Area Residents

The Martha's Vineyard Fourth Amendment Project wants to inform the public about their constitutional rights as the Trump administration ramps up ICE activity nationwide.

The volunteer, nonprofit is working to educate residents about the Fourth Amendment, which protects against unreasonable searches and seizures, requiring warrants based on probable cause.

MV4A co-founder Lexi Ladd tells the Vineyard Gazette that information is crucial in case ICE returns to the Vineyard.

Last May, ICE agents detained around 40 people in Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
