Massachusetts is ranked 45th in a national study of most and least stressed states.
The financial website WalletHub.com analyzed 40 key metrics in every state including average work hours, job security, financial stability, health care access and crime rates.
Connecticut is ranked 42nd in a national study of most and least stressed states.
Rhode Island is ranked 29th.
The most stressed state according to the study is New Mexico, the least stressed is Nebraska.
