There's a traffic advisory in effect for Bearses Way in Hyannis this week.
Beginning today, Bearses Way, between Enterprise Road and Pitchers Way, will now be open to southbound travel.
Northbound travel will remain closed and required to follow the current detour. Businesses and residences must be accessed from the north, using Route 132 or Pitcher's Way.
The closure is expected to remain in effect from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Friday.
The road work is part of the Bearses Way Shared Use Path Project and related sewer construction.
