Wind Advisory In Effect Until 7 P.M.

The Cape and Islands are under a Wind Advisory until 7 p.m.

Westerly winds of 20 to 30-miles-per-hour are possible with wind gusts of up to 50-miles-per-hour.

The gusty winds could down tree limbs and cause power outages.

Driving could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

The Steamship Authority is waiving change and cancellation fees today because of the wind - and the ferry service urges passengers to check ahead for any travel changes.
