Barnstable To Crack Down On Illegal ATV's

Barnstable officials have announced plans to crack down on the use of all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes on public lands.

Local police and Natural Resource officers will step up patrols in conservation areas and open space land through December.

Motorized vehicle use is prohibited on these lands, and officers will also be looking for unregistered ATVs and bike riders, plus those who operate on land without express permission from the owners.
